Unpacking Unconscious Bias

Bias isn't always overt. Often, it's the subtle, hidden attitudes we have that are harmful within the workplace. Discover how unconscious bias can negatively impact your team members, clients, and customers and what to do about it during this one-hour workshop. Q&A to follow. 

We hope you can join us on September 28, 11:30-1:30 at St. John's Resort, as we continue our journey to recognize the value that diversity and inclusion bring to our community and workplaces. We encourage you to bring members of your staff to learn more about unconscious bias and how to bring back to your company the techniques and tools presented at the luncheon. 

Presenter

Ayana King is the Founder and CEO of Maximum Communications, a consulting agency specializing in diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) education. A strong advocate for inclusion, Ayana works diligently to help end racism, ageism, and other threats to humanity through engaging workshops and collaborative partnerships. She hosts in-person seminars and webinars across industries nationwide, consults with executive teams to help navigate critical conversations, and assists C-suites in cultivating the diverse, inclusive, and innovative teams of tomorrow. She has contributed articles to publications like Fast Company and PR Daily.
